Mr. Morton is the Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income at FFTW. Before joining FFTW in July 2012, he was the Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income and a Managing Director of Rexiter Capital Management, a subsidiary of State Street Global Advisors. In this role, he was responsible for all of Rexiter's emerging markets fixed income investments and oversight of the sovereign risk and relative value analysis. He has been working in the investment management field since 1987, with a focus on emerging markets fixed income since the early 1990s. Prior to joining Rexiter, Mr. Morton was the Director of Global Credit Strategy for State Street Global Advisors. He has an extensive background in emerging market sovereigns and corporations. He ear ned his BA from Suffolk University.
