Ross Hopkins is the founder and chief executive officer of QWL Pty Ltd, specialist asset manager with over 20 years of experience in Australian equity markets. In 2004 QWL expanded into Eastern Europe through relationships they have established with the investment divisions of Swedish Banks. Prior to founding QWL in 2000, Hopkins was head partner at the specialist advisory firm Financial Nexus where he worked with family groups in asset allocation and investment strategy. During 1986-1998 he was responsible for the equity investment advisory division for an independently owned dealer group. Hopkins has a BEcon from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia, and is a Certified Financial Planner. He is a board member of several corporate entities and charitable groups.
